PRODUCTION TEAM

Alex Fronduto (Director, Producer, and Owner of Centerstage Productions) is excited to be directing his 7th show with Centerstage.  He cannot believe that Centerstage has now been around longer than 3 years.  Recently, he appeared in Centerstage's traveling show The Laramie Project this past winter.  Past shows he has directed with Centerstage includes: Jekyll and Hyde, Into the Woods, Urinetown, Footloose, Once on this Island, and The Laramie Project.  Alex has also started a college theater group in Boston- the MCPHS Theater and Improv Group which is a theater group that six colleges in Boston can participate in.  This group began last Fall and Alex is excited to have this group develop as well. Alex is very excted to be directing The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee this Fall with Centerstage! If you like what you see, please spread the word!

Aleida Morales (Costume Designer and Assitant to Alex's life)  has dedicated the more favorable portion of her life to theater and the majority of it has been spent with Centerstage Productions. She is a fashion design major, not merchandising and hopefully becoming a costuming major, thank you very much.  She has been with Centerstage for every show and has occansionally worked with other companys such as Moonlight Productions and MCPHS Improv and Theater. Her basement is dedicated to her love of costuming and this company as anyone who has viewed it can tell, much to the displeasure of her family. She hopes to continue with theater and will be enslaved to Centerstage Productions for as long as she lives.

Sam Palace (Sometime Musical Director, Orchestra Coordinator, and Pianist Extraordinaire) is a lifelong fan of musical theatre in general and Alex Fronduto in particular. Her directing credits include Les Miserables (2004) and A Chorus Line (2005). Her great love of music has (not) guided her in her decision to become a biology major at Clark University, where she is the proud President of the university’s Jazz Workshop (suggested motto: "What We Lack in Quality, We Make Up in Volume"). An aspiring playwright, she recently completed her first major musical, The Very First Thanksgiving, which is expected to open slightly after the second coming of the messiah. She also wrote this paragraph. Although she is neither Mormon nor gay, she would like to thank her agent and her cat for helping her achieve her glorious new position as the Centerstage Pit Master, where she expects her bios will continue to embarrass the owners for many seasons to come.

Christina Brandano (Assistant Director) has been involved in theatre since age 8 when she appeared in Cinderella as a mouse. Since then, she has done many shows including Chicago (Roxie) and The Sound of Music (Liesl) and Little Shop of Horrors (Chiffon). With Centerstage she has been seen in: Footloose (Ariel), Urinetown (Little Becky Two-Shoes) and Once on this Island (Andrea/Storyteller). Christina danced with Nancy Chippendale’s Dance Studio for ten years and tap-danced her way onto the USA dance team, as well as doing choreography for Pentucket Regional Middle School and the Pingree School. Recently, she has been working as a Stage Manager for History Alive!, a professional division of the Gordon College Theatre Department. She is looking forward to working with the Centerstage Production Team as Assistant Director.

Kali Carnevale (Assistant Artistic Director) is thrilled to be joining the Centerstage team. She has been performing since the age of eight, and is excited to be getting the chance to be working on the other side of the curtain for once as Assistant Artistic Director. Kali recently performed in her first Centerstage production of "Footloose" as the character Wendy Jo. During this production she figured out that she could surprisingly still dance quite well, even after getting metal poles in her back just three or four months earlier. (The metal poles thing was a surgery...don't worry.) Kali has performed with North Shore Music theatre in their productions of Stuart Little and The Rocky Horror Show (and is a self-proclaimed Rocky fanatic.) Other favorite roles include Louisa in "The Sound of Music," Annie in "Annie Jr," and The Plant pupeteer in "Little Shop Of Horrors." :) Singing and acting are not only something Kali highly enjoys doing, but she also finds it quite theraputic at times. Kali is a Senior at Hamilton-Wenham High and plans on going to Salem State college next year to major in psychology and minor in theatre. (But knowing her, that is bound to change in the next few months.) Again, she is very excited to be joining the team and getting the oppertunity to help put on an awesome production with the people she loves the most! :)

Jamie Strazzero (Orchestral Manager/Fundraising Chair) has been with Centerstage since Urinetown The Musical! Jamie has been a fan of musical theater since she was a child and never gives up an opportunity to see a show. However, you will never see her on stage. You can find Jamie in the pit playing with the rest of the musicians. Jamie is a freshman music major at Gordon College studying Music Education with a focus on saxophone. She is excited to work with Centerstage and looking forward to a great season! Love to the cast, crew, pro-team and most importantly the pit!!
